November can seem like a drab month. It gets dark faster. And it often feels like the darkest month because December through to March we have the white snow to reflect the light and brighten things up. The best thing to do is to embrace the dark, and get out there anyways…
So, we grabbed our girls with outdoor adventure in their hearts, and embraced the dark with a ladies’ night hike to Keogan Cabin (from P7). I’m pretty sure the shared experience of the darkness combined with all our lights, lit each of us up too.
**We have and love the luminAID PackLite Firefly USB lanterns (with warm LEDs). They pack flat, and then you inflate them when you want to use them. You can charge with solar if you get enough of sun (10hrs), but I always charge by USB (1-2hrs). It emits a nice warm light (5 settings of brightness and a candle flicker mode). Also, kids like to carry them. Not sponsored…but I’d like to be 😉
